How to Block a Facebook Stalker
Getting rid of a Facebook stalker is easier than you think. Using Facebook’s privacy settings, you can delete friends and block any Facebook user from sending you friend requests, application requests and even block people by their email address. Here’s how you do it!
Step 1: Sign into Facebook. On the far right side of the blue ribbon at the top of your newsfeed, click on the small downward facing triangle icon.
Step 2: Once you have clicked on the triangle icon, a dropdown menu will appear. The options will include Account Settings, Privacy Settings, Logout and Help. Click on the Privacy Settings option.
Step 3: Once you have clicked on Privacy Settings, you will be brought to a page, where you can mange all of your Privacy Settings, including who can see your posts, which information gets shared with others, and how you connect with others. Scroll down to the very bottom of the page. You will see an option that says Blocked People and Apps. To the right, you will see a link that says Manage Blocking. Click Manage Blocking.
Step 4: Once you have clicked Manage Blocking, you will be taken to a page where you can enter the name or email address of the person you wish to block. From this page you can also block certain people from sending you invites for applications and events. You can even block someone who is not a Facebook user, if you know their email address.
Step 5: To block a Facebook user from contacting you, simply enter their username and click the Block button. To block someone using their email address, simply type in their email address, then click Block. To block a certain user from sending you requests for applications and events, simply type in their user name under Block app invites or Block event invites and hit enter.
Facebook is meant to be a safe and easy way to connect with your friends and family members. You should never have to deal with a Facebook stalker. Now that you know how to block your Facebook stalker, you can keep up with your friends and family in peace!
